Diwali Season -The festival of Joy

Your Ad Here Diwali - The biggest festival of India generally falls in the monts of october and november. People in south india commanly use the term deepawali, also Diwali si the common term used throughout india and denoted a holiday. Diwali festival that falls before the winter season is considered as the last harvet time of the year. Diwali comes from the sanskrit "deepawali"-deepa meaning light, wali meaning row, hence row of lights. Or as otherwise known, festival of lights.

On this day lord rama returned to his kingdom ayodhya after 14 years of exile. On the day of diwali people light diyas or oill lamps.This is done by using a small brass plates or tiered plates as a lamp and putting oil or ghee (clarified butter) in the plates and putting wick and burning it.

In south india people believe that lord krishna defeated demon naraksura on this auspicious day known as Diwali. Diwali is a hallowed tradition, not to be put in the shade by the lights. Diwali symbolizes the victory of good over bad.

Diwali festival is the biggest of all hindu festivals. Diwali is a perfect occasion to express love & admiration for dear ones.
